Special Events General Liability Insurance

Diversified Risk leads the way for affordable, broad coverage for Special Events.  Now, cities, counties, school districts, special districts, joint power authorities, and private facilities owners can manage their insurance requirements through the Special Event Safety Group Insurance Program.  The Safety Group is designed to meet the needs associated with the short-term rental or use of their facilities such as halls, auditoriums, parks, fields, streets, etc.

Features include:

  • Limits up to $5,000,000 for individual events
  • No deductibles for claims
  • Low premiums for event holders
  • Liquor liability is included
  • No minimum premium for the Public Entity
  • No deposit premium for the Public Entity
  • No exclusion for injury to participants or athletic participants, unlike most other insurance programs
  • Property owners are automatically included as Additional Insureds
  • Instructors of Park and Recreation classes can be insured
  • Group meetings (weekly or monthly) can be insured

The program is designed to be administered as part of your standard permit or rental process with minimal time and effort.
